Kfir Bibas, the youngest among the 240 Israeli hostages held in Gaza, was abducted by Hamas when he was only nine months old. Along with his mother, father, and four year-old brother, Kfir was kidnapped from their home in Kibbutz Nir Oz.

Disturbing footage released by Hamas shows them using a screwdriver to forcibly open the Bibas family's door. Tragically, Kfir's grandparents were killed during this attack.

Kfir marked his first birthday on January 18, 2024, while still in captivity. Although Hamas has claimed that Kfir has died in Gaza, his family continues to hold out hope for his safety.

Agam Berger, a talented violinist and dedicated volunteer, was abducted from the Nahal Oz base at just 19 years old. Before her abduction, she had been actively involved in supporting children with learning difficulties and other challenges.

Agam has since been seen in a distressing Telegram video released by Hamas, where she is shown being forced into a car while wearing pajamas.

In November, Agam’s family received a phone call from Agam Goldstein-Almog, who was released in a hostage deal. During this call, Agam Goldstein-Almog relayed Agam’s request for a birthday card to be sent to her father. In May, Agam’s family released a video to highlight the violent conditions she is enduring as a captive.

One of Agam’s cousins, Ashley Waxman Bakshi, a Canadian-Israeli influencer with over 700,000 followers, is now using her platform to advocate for Agam’s release.

Shlomo Mantzur, an 86-year-old survivor of the Farhud, the massacre and torture of Jews in Baghdad in 1941, is the oldest hostage who was abducted on October 7.

At the time, he and his wife, Mazal, were in their safe room when terrorists breached their home. Mazal managed to get away from the terrorists, but unfortunately, Shlomo was captured.

Shlomo, a professional carpenter, had lived in Kibbutz Kissufim with Mazal for 60 years and was actively involved in volunteering for the army and maintaining gravestones in the local cemetery. Known for his big heart, craftsmanship, and community spirit, Shlomo is a father, grandfather, and has five brothers and many friends in the kibbutz.
