Judaism teaches us that all Jews are responsible for one another – Kol Yisrael Aravim Zeh La Zeh. This concept is the basis of the notion that we must take action in order to care for Jews in communities around the world.

College campuses across the United States are facing a national debate: How far is too far when it comes to free speech? Join the Jewish Federation of Cleveland to discuss “Free Speech on Campus: Are There Limits?” at the 70th Annual Meeting of the Community Relations Committee (CRC) and Sidney Z. Vincent Memorial Lecture. The event is free and open to the public on Wednesday, March 15 at 7 pm at The Temple-Tifereth Israel (26000 Shaker Blvd, Beachwood).

The issue of free speech on college campuses will be the focus of this year’s Sidney Z. Vincent Memorial Lecture on March 15.

Greetings from India! Four Jewish Cleveland young leaders are taking an unforgettable journey to explore Jewish life in India with the National Young Leadership Cabinet Study Mission. They, along with more than 100 fellow young leaders from across North America, are visiting India to understand how Judaism endures as a small minority culture in our diaspora communities.

Arie Azene, an Israeli painter whose career began as a youth in the 1940s, will embark on his first trip to the Cleveland-area on Feb. 26 to show and discuss two recent collections of work in a show at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland that serves to memorialize his late partner, Israeli journalist Tatiana Hoffman.
