Coaching Circles, a leadership development program, offers women a supportive and motivating environment to connect through meaningful conversations and peer coaching. Coaching Circles was created to give participants an opportunity to work with seasoned lay leaders to help enhance their skills and talents. This program has already enabled 108 women to establish new relationships, develop in an area that is a current challenge related to a career or community volunteerism, and learn about the Federation.

I recently had the incredible opportunity to visit Israel with the Jewish Federation of Cleveland where I attended the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) General Assembly in Tel Aviv, along with the Israel at 70 Mission that took a deep dive in more remote communities.

A true demonstration of “The Impact of Together!” Over 10,000 community members raised more than $32.7 million to help care for one another, prepare for the future, share our perspectives, and repair our world.

After nearly a decade of staying silent, Monica Lewinsky said she is once again in the public eye to take back control of her narrative and advocate against bullying during the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s women’s philanthropy Signature Event Oct. 29 at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland announced that Nan Cohen of Pepper Pike was awarded the 2018 Ruby Bass Award, the organization’s most prestigious award for women philanthropists. Cohen was honored with the award at the Federation’s Women’s Philanthropy Signature Event on October 29.

Lions of Judah, women who make an individual gift of $5,000 or more to the annual Campaign for Jewish Needs, will come together on August 21 at the Lion of Judah Summer Social to celebrate philanthropy and the meaningful difference women create through the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.

The third cohort of Coaching Circles concluded in July. Over a six month period, 36 women were divided into “circles” of six people to discuss topics around building trust, leadership, communication and its impact, asking powerful questions, emotional self-awareness, and assessing, reflecting and prioritizing various aspects of life (e.g. family, community, work, religion, money, health, and personal growth).
