Thank you to the nearly 500 women from across our diverse community who joined us to celebrate the power we have to pursue our dreams at the Women's Philanthropy Spring Luncheon.
Speaker Carin Rockind, founder of PurposeGirl, wowed the crowd with her personal story, words of wisdom, and ways we can seek purpose in our everyday lives. "The thing I love most about women is that each of us has a story to tell about the trials we go through ...You can always write the next chapter of your life. We cannot let our fear take over." Check out Carin's full speech above.
Mazel Tov to Judi Kovach, recipient of this year's Irene Zehman Award for excellence in volunteer service for her work with the Cleveland Kids' Book Bank. Under Judi's leadership, the Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank has distributed more than one million children’s books to those in need in less than two years. Thank you to our Host Committee, Event Chairs Sheila Margolis, Shelby Siegal, and Tamar Poupko Smith, Women's Philanthropy Outreach and Engagement Chairs Adena Klineman and Erica Starrfield, and Women's Philanthropy Chair Danielle Wild for organizing this event.
And, a special thanks to all of our guests who donated hundreds of books to the Cleveland Kids' Book Bank as part of our annual service project. It's amazing what we can do when we work together!
