Winter 2013 Birthright Trip
"There are so many amazing photos I couldn't narrow them down!" said one of the 40 Clevelanders who just returned home after the Cleveland Community Winter Birthright Trip. These young Israel travelers spent their days hiking Masada, snorkeling in the Red Sea, sleeping in a Bedouin Tent, and more. Plus, enjoyed a little home hospitality at the homes of three women in Beit Shean, Cleveland's sister city in Israel. Not only did participants tour the entire country in just 10 days, but they also learned about Israeli life and culture from their "Mifgash," or Israeli soldiers, who joined them as trip participants. Each 22-26 year old Clevelander found their own personal Israel connection during this meaningful trip, made possible through Taglit Birthright Israel, Israel Outdoors, and the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.
