This #GivingTuesday, make a gift to the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and join a global movement to give to the charity of your choice on November 29. Or anytime!

Also, meet a few people giving to our Jewish community and join them in helping make our world a better place!

Meet Josh Adler

Giving to the Federation, I have an opportunity to change and save so many people's lives across this community and around the world. As a young leader here, I know I have a responsibility to continue the great work of the giants who came before me. I am taking care of every one of us who live in this community. Jewish Cleveland has meant so much to me during my life and supporting the Federation means more because of that.

Meet Tera Gross

When I give, I know I am supporting Jewish Cleveland for generations to come. The Federation impacts our community more than we are aware – we have all been affected by the Federation in some way. Giving means someone doesn't have to go without food, someone doesn't have to go without shelter. I'm helping my neighbors out, whether they live on my street or whether they live in Israel.

Meet Josh Acks

I remind myself the Federation has always been a part of my life. And no matter what I give, I know I'm giving back to someone or something great here in Cleveland. When I give to an organization like Federation, my dollars are spread throughout the community. And it's so important to contribute in order to keep that going.

Meet Maya Cohen

Ever since 4th grade, I've always loved getting involved in the Jewish Community. I've been involved in both Camp Wise and BBYO for many years. I love all the traditions, prayers, and the amazing feeling of being a community. When I donate, I like to think I am helping people to ensure the same Jewish future that I am able to have. I think everyone should be able to have amazing opportunities like me, support Israel, and create a strong Jewish community.

Meet Anita & Bob Seidmann

To all our friends and the Jewish Federation of Cleveland family:

It is hard to believe that we have been living in Florida for almost 15 years. But Anita and I still miss Cleveland. There is something about where one grows up that cannot ever be left behind, nor should it be. We have stayed in touch with our close Cleveland friends, including simchah’s and sadnesses. A certain part of us still misses the Federation and Agency meetings. For these reasons giving to the Jewish Federation of Cleveland annually still remains a very important part of our lives. It means we still have an attachment to our Cleveland memories and connections. May you all have a Happy Thanksgiving with you loved ones, and always remember that the Jewish Federation of Cleveland should always be a part of your lives, no matter where you live.

With best wishes to all, Anita and Bob Seidemann, West Palm Beach, Fl.

Meet Jerry Zahler

To me, giving to the Federation is a no brainer for a number of reasons. The Federation searches out needy causes which may never get people's attention otherwise. They have enough financial strength to make a real difference and in many cases, they are the "last man standing." I know that my giving allows the Federation to secure the history of our past generations, which is a passion of mine.
