Get to Know #JewishCleveland

The Street Team (Seth and Raquel!) met up with social entrepreneur Matt Fieldman in Shaker Square, home to one of his favorite restaurants and projects: EDWINS Leadership and Restaurant Institute.

EDWINS is Cleveland’s first non-profit restaurant, giving formerly-incarcerated adults a foundation in the hospitality industry while providing a support network necessary for a successful reentry. Matt is Co-Founder and Board President at EDWINS, which is just one of his many projects that are guided by the Jewish value of tikkun olam (repairing the world).

According to Matt, “Cleveland is a big city with a small town feel and you can make a real difference.”
