The Jewish Federation of Cleveland will launch the 2019 Campaign for Jewish Needs on Wednesday, August 29 at a special event that will be open to the public that evening at 7:00 pm at the Mandel JCC Stonehill Auditorium (26001 S. Woodland Road in Beachwood). The Campaign for Jewish Needs is the Federation’s annual fundraising campaign that serves Clevelanders from our local and global Jewish community.

When Rhoda Seifert was growing up, she heard stories about her family's experiences in the Holocaust.

They say a penny saved is a penny earned, but in this case, Mandel JDS students did a lot more than save their pennies - they donated 717 dollars worth to the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Campaign for Jewish Needs.

“The Women’s Philanthropy Campaign raises more money than many other cities do in their entire campaigns,” said Federation Board Chair Gary L. Gross. Women in our community brought in $4,123,727. Thank you for your dollars, your time, and your involvement!

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland has named Jeffrey Wild as its Chair for the 2019 and 2020 Campaign for Jewish Needs. In this volunteer role, he will be responsible for providing leadership, vision and strategy for the Federation’s annual fundraising effort. Wild, 45, is a partner at Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff, where he serves as the firm’s Administrative Partner, Chief Strategy Officer and chairs its Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group.

We did it! Together, over 9,700 community members raised more than $32.7 million to help care for our local and global Jewish community. What we do matters and every dollar makes a difference!

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland will announce millions in funds raised in its 2018 Campaign for Jewish Needs during its After Party Campaign Closing Celebration Dec. 13.

Rhoda Seifert of South Euclid has made an impact on this community and the Campaign for Jewish Needs for many years. “I started out volunteering during Super Sunday many years ago. After that, I came more to help make donation calls for Dialathons.”

After serving on Saltzman Youth Panel last year, Rikki, a high school student, felt inspired to help our community by becoming a Campaigner. Meet her now.

The community is invited to the After Party Campaign Closing Celebration, the grand finale of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s 2018 Campaign for Jewish Needs, on Wednesday, December 13 at 7 pm at the Mandel JCC Stonehill Auditorium (26001 S. Woodland Road in Beachwood).
