Summer 2014 Birthright Trip

Cleveland young adults just returned from a trip to Israel they will never forget! Participants on the Cleveland Community Summer Birthright Trip explored Israel far and wide, as they shopped at the Mahane Yehuda marketplace, discovered Jewish mysticism in Tzfat, and experienced the breathtaking views of the Bahai Gardens. They were even lucky enough to visit Beit Shean, our sister city, where they feasted on ethnic foods from Egypt and Ethiopia with the “Cooks of the Region.” It was a meaningful trip for all of our participants, as each person found their own personal Israel connection – made possible through Taglit Birthright Israel, Israel Outdoors, and the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. Welcome home!
