STEM Impacting the Teaching Game In Beit Shean

Three years ago, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland launched a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) initiative in four communities in Israel, including Beit Shean, Cleveland's sister city.

Today, STEM has become so much more than just the four subjects. STEM has completely changed the mindset of how the the education system is taught in schools - even in gym and language classes.

During the 2022 Campaign for Jewish Needs Launch event, the Overseas Connections Committee Beit Shean Subcommittee Chair, Mark Holz spoke to Meirav Levi, principal at the Tachkemoni Elementary School about how Federation's support has made a major impact in the community.
