Segula, which means ‘treasure’ in Hebrew, is a partnership between the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland and three local day schools: Fuchs Mizrachi School, Gross Schechter Day School, and Joseph and Florence Mandel Jewish Day School.

Segula helps families with children with special needs to be able to access a Jewish education.

"The most important thing for Jewish continuity and Jewish survival is a Jewish education," said a parent. "If we deny that to someone because they can't learn the same way most kids do, it's a real shame. Without Segula, we would not be able to stay in Jewish day school."

For more information on Segula, contact Melanie Halvorson at mhalvorson@jewishcleveland.org.

TOGETHER, we help save and change tens of thousands of lives in Cleveland, Israel, and around the world. Thank you!
