In November 2022, 25 teens and two ShinShinim (Israeli emissaries) from Jewish Cleveland traveled through Atlanta, Montgomery, and Birmingham to discuss the Jewish involvement in the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s and 60s.

The trip was organized by @akiva, a Federation beneficiary agency, that provides connections for teens to Judaism, Israel, and each other.

For more information on other programs for teens, contact Amnon Ophir at the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland: aophir@jecc.org or 216-789-2861.
