Community Resources to Cope with Parkland Tragedy

We know the school shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida touched many of our community members.
 
The Jewish Federation of Cleveland and our beneficiary agencies are ready to help:

• If your child needs support, here are some resources for how to talk about it with him or her:
  • From the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland: "Responding to Crisis"
  • From Bellefaire Jewish Children's Bureau:
    • "Talking to Kids about Trauma"
    • "Talking to Children about Violence"
    • "Addressing Grief - Tips for Teachers and Administrators" 
  • Bellefaire Jewish Children's Bureau counselors are on staff at the Jewish Day Schools and many public schools. Or, call Bellefaire's intake helpline at 216-320-8502.
• If you or another adult are having trouble coping, please call the Jewish Family Service Association at 216-292-3999.
