Chanukah Happiness in a Basket

“It’s great to see people gathered in one room who are so focused on giving to people that we will never meet,” said Joanie Berger, Jewish Volunteer Network Chair, who joined more than 60 volunteers at our annual Chanukah in a Basket event.
With scissors in one hand and wrapping paper in another, our volunteers prepared gift baskets for Cleveland’s Jewish children and families in need. For some of these families, this will be the only gift they receive this holiday season. We share the light and warmth of Chanukah to those who need it the most.
Thank you to our Co-Chairs: Trish Adler, Stacy Anthony, Sally Hirsh, Lauren Sonkin, and Amy Wain Garnitz. And, thank you to all those who so generously donated gifts and volunteered their time to wrap and deliver baskets. We are #strongertogether.
