Meet Adrienne Goldberg, our Campaigner of the Week!
Q - Why is it important to be a Campaigner?
The Jewish Federation of Cleveland helps Jews from birth to end-of-life. I’m motivated by the mission of ‘leave no Jew behind’ locally, in Israel, and worldwide. I’m very proud of our Jewish community! I always ask people to get involved and come to programs. I want to get everyone involved.
Q - How have you personally been touched by the Impact of Together, this year’s Campaign theme?
I was transformed as a person through the Federation’s Mission to Paris and Israel a few years ago. I could see the importance of community giving all over the world. I was able to give packets to people making aliyah to Israel. This was all provided by the Federation system. It honestly was an unbelievable feeling – they were getting their dream of being able to practice Judaism the way they wanted. That was inspiring.
Q - How do you spend your free time?
I love to travel and I love new experiences, and I love being with my family, whether it’s in Cleveland for Rosh Hashanah dinner or in Eastern Europe learning about the history of the Jewish people. Doing things together with family – it’s a joy of my life.
