Dr. Delos (Toby) Cosgrove, President and CEO of the Cleveland Clinic, joins the Jewish Federation of Cleveland for the 67th Annual Meeting of the Community Relations Committee (CRC) and Sidney Z. Vincent Memorial Lecture. All are welcome to join Thursday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Federation’s Mandel Building, 25701 Science Park Drive, Beachwood.

Healthcare is a vital topic for our city and our country. As the President and CEO of the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Cosgrove is well-versed on today’s healthcare issues. He will present at the CRC Annual Meeting on “Healthcare in the 21st Century.” A Q & A will follow.

More of Dr. Cosgrove’s expertise can be found in his new book, The Cleveland Clinic Way: Lessons in Excellence from One of the World’s Leading Health Care Organizations. The book acknowledges how the Clinic is helping to shape the future of medicine by working toward one goal: putting patients first. Under Dr. Cosgrove’s leadership, the Cleveland Clinic has consistently been named among America’s top four hospitals (U.S. News & World Report), and is one of the only two hospitals named among “America’s 99 Most Ethical Companies” (Ethisphere Institute).

In addition, Warren L. Wolfson, outgoing CRC Chair, will be honored for his dedication and service to the community. To mark the beginning of a new term, an election of new CRC officers will also take place.

The event is free and open to the public; registration is requested. For more information or to RSVP, email crc@jcfcleve.org or call 216-593-2858.

The Community Relations Committee recommends and implements the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s public affairs policy based on the Federation’s mission and the Jewish values of tzedakah (justice), tikkun olam (making the world a better place), and chesed (kindness).
