2014 Women's Spring Luncheon

We are inspired! Together we celebrated the wonder woman in all of us at the Women's Spring Luncheon. Thank you to the 600+ women of our strong Jewish community who joined us to enjoy the passion, enthusiasm, and wisdom of featured speaker Debora Spar, President of Barnard College and author of Wonder Women: "Feminism is about community action, helping others, and sisterhood." And, no one knows more about doing mitzvot for others than Channah Appel. Mazel tov, Channah, this year's Irene Zehman Volunteer Award recipient for her commitment to tikkun olam (repairing the world). Hundreds of undergarments and gift cards were donated to support Channah and the community at-large. Thank you to everyone who participated. A very special thanks to event chairs Mara Kamat, Paula Schwartz, Danielle Wild, and Ellen Zelman, and all our guests for a beautiful afternoon. We hope to see you again soon! #CLEwonderwoman
