Associate, External Affairs
The Associate, External Affairs is responsible for assisting the External Affairs team with strategies stemming from the Community Relations Committee and Government Relations Committee, as well as efforts to combat antisemitism. In this capacity the Associate, External Affairs will be responsible for assisting to work on a broad range of issues and representing the Jewish community to the non-Jewish community.
This position is full-time and reports to the Assistant VP, External Affairs.
Director, CRM Systems & Strategy
The Jewish Federation of Cleveland is embarking on a comprehensive, multi-year transformation of its entire business enterprise. Through this initiative, we will greatly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our current workstreams, while designing and implementing new approaches to propel the work of the Federation and support the needs of the communities it serves.
The Director, CRM Systems and Strategy reports to the Managing Director, Business Systems and will help ensure the success of this transformation by participating in the design, migration, change enablement, and ongoing oversight and management of our new CRM platform that powers our robust fundraising and engagement efforts. The Director will work collaboratively with Federation staff members, as well as with process and business partners, vendors, leadership, and information technology staff throughout the transformation, and beyond, to ensure the optimal use of the CRM to support the organization’s vision.
Executive Assistant to the President
The Executive Assistant (EA) is a critical partner for the President of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, serving as a face of the Office of the President and primary point of contact with all stakeholders. The EA effectively manages the President’s complex and full calendar, responds in a timely manner to key stakeholders, and regularly handles a high volume of requests and assignments, including planning travel, processing expense reports, preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, and arranging conference calls. The EA has regular interactions with the Senior Management Team (SMT), the Chair of the Board of Trustees (BOT), staff, outside agencies, volunteer leadership, and major donors.
Physical Security Technology Specialist
The Physical Security Technology Specialist is part of a team responsible for a broad range of tasks related to the installation, administration, support, maintenance, enhancement, optimization, and documentation of the physical security technology at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland (JFC) and the community security initiatives of our partner, JFC Security LLC.
PJ Library Parent Connector
(20 hours per month)
A successful PJ Library Parent Connector is warm, compassionate, and genuinely interested in getting to know new families. Their personal knowledge, experiences, and involvement in the Jewish community allow them to connect families to additional local program opportunities. A connector enthusiastically leads creative programs in Cleveland, tailoring to the interests of families.
Marketing Project Coordinator
The Marketing and Communications department at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland seeks a team-centric professional with great project management skills to help manage and track through completion the diverse and ever-increasing flow of demands being placed on its dynamic Marketing & Communications team.
This will include but not be limited to: running the team’s project management software system; coordinating with in-house print shop and third-party vendors; handling advertising buys; and miscellaneous event support. Additionally, this professional will provide administrative support for the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
Security Officer
JFC Security, LLC is looking for a dedicated and caring individual to be part of a growing, community-based security team. In this role, the Security Officer will work to provide a safe environment that is secure from outside threats for social service agencies, synagogues, schools and pre-schools within the Greater Cleveland Jewish Community. The Security Officer is expected to anticipate potential problems and respond to disturbances, prohibited conduct, and emergencies. These duties are performed either while assigned to a Mobile Patrol/Foot Patrol Unit or to a stationary post. This position reports to the Security Officer Supervisor for JFC Security, LLC.
