Cleveland Women Partner for Peace in Israel

A group of Cleveland women were in Israel with other women from Chicago, Indianapolis, and Milwaukee on the Women Partners for Peace mission. Throughout the week, the WP4P mission brought together Jewish and non-Jewish women for a week in Israel exploring the complexities of Israeli society, as seen through the lens of women.

The trip included meetings with Israeli and Palestinian women leaders and activists engaged in addressing these issues. Building on existing local partnerships, WP4P helped to create bonds for substantive and long-term engagement, on local, national, and global levels.

The ultimate goal for WP4P participants was to build relationships with Israeli and Palestinian women working together on global issues of common concern, to share inclusive models and to inspire and fortify work and partnerships at home and across borders.
