We appreciate the statements of support from Senator Portman, Senator Sherrod Brown, and Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge.

Senator Sherrod Brown

Following a series of terrorist attacks in Israel and the West Bank against Israeli citizens, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) released the following statement:

“The recent violent attacks in Israel, Jerusalem, and the West Bank are reprehensible. We must condemn all acts of terror. It is only through a negotiated political process that Israelis and Palestinians can reach a peaceful settlement and we must support that effort.”

Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge

Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) released the following statement on the recent attacks in Israel:

“I strongly condemn the violent attacks on Israeli civilians. If there is to be a path toward peace and stability in the region, the violence must end now. My condolences to the families and all affected by these heinous acts. I do now, and will always, support Israel’s right to defend itself.”

Senator Rob Portman

U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-Ohio) released the following statement regarding recent terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians:

“The recent terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians are unacceptable and must strengthen our resolve to stand with the Israeli people. The U.S. stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel in the fight against terrorism, and these horrific attacks only reinforce the importance of the strong U.S.-Israeli strategic partnership in facing increased danger and instability throughout the Middle East. Our hearts continue to be with the victims and their families.”
