Did you know? Three #JewishCleveland moms are making it easy for new moms and all kinds of Jewish families in Twinsburg, Aurora, and Chagrin Falls to connect to each other and kid-friendly Cleveland. They are the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s PJ Library Engagement Ambassadors, and they can’t wait to get to know you. Meet them here.

Meet Beth

Connecting families with kids, 0-2 years

I'm passionate about creating friendships that last a lifetime; they influence how our families are raised. Helping foster relationships that make people feel welcome and part of our Jewish community is fun and rewarding.

When I go on a coffee date with a new mom, most likely she’s busy, new to the area, new to “life with kids,” or not feeling connected. What do I do? I connect her to the great Jewish programming our city has to offer like PJ Library, and also to other families who “get” her life. I help moms (and dads!) feel supported, connected, and welcome. And that’s why I love what I do. So if you are a new parent and looking to get connected to all things baby in Cleveland, or would like to connect to other new parents, please give me a call!

New moms enjoy a "Mom's Night Out," complete with photography tips, mini massages, and delicious desserts.

Meet Jenna

Connecting with families in the Twinsburg/Aurora area

When I hear from new families and connect them to our Jewish Cleveland community, I feel an immense sense of pride. A few years ago, when my husband and I were thinking of starting a family we knew we wanted to have a Jewish home but didn’t know where to start. Thanks to Federation’s PJ Library program, we were able to learn and grow with our daughter while making new friends and becoming part of the community. The PJ Library program helped show us the way. Now, as the Federation’s PJ Library Engagement Ambassador, I get to do the same for other families.

It’s an amazing experience listening to families and connecting them to each other and to local events and experiences. I look forward to helping many more families make meaningful and lasting connections.

Meet Julie

Connecting families in the Chagrin Falls/Solon area

I was visiting from Buffalo and at a Jewish Book Fair when I first experienced PJ Library and Cleveland’s vibrant Jewish community. We were blown away and couldn’t wait to move to Cleveland. Ever since, PJ Library has provided my family invaluable opportunities to connect with all kinds of Jewish families, to Federation, and to the Jewish Cleveland community.

As a PJ Library Engagement Ambassador, I am excited to share this experience with other young families. There’s no better feeling than watching children grow up with a sense of belonging and a desire to be part of the Jewish future. And, I feel privileged to be facilitating that for many new and young families in the Cleveland area.
