International singing sensation Idan Raichel is back in Cleveland! The community is invited attend to a free concert by Raichel as part of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s 69th Independence Day Celebration, on Tuesday, May 2 at 5:30 pm at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights.

Raichel has changed the face of Israeli music to become a global music powerhouse. For one night only, Landerhaven will be transformed for a night of food and fun celebrating Israel’s Independence Day at the Federation’s largest annual community event. Young children can enjoy arts and crafts, balloon artists, and learn about Israeli life and culture. The whole family can purchase delicious kosher fare at the food court, ranging from traditional Israeli favorites like falafel, to American food like chicken strips and french fries.

The Federation also hosts Yom Hazikaron, Day of Remembrance. This meaningful memorial service honors Israel’s fallen soldiers and victims of terror. The Federation hosts the ceremony two days before Yom Ha’atzmaut at 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 30 at the Mandel JCC, 26001 S. Woodland Road in Beachwood.
