Calling all Middle and High School Students: Enter your essays and artwork for the 2020 Yom Hashoah V’Hagvurah Creative Arts Contest, Cleveland’s Commemoration of the Holocaust & Heroism.

The theme for this year's contest is "75 Years Since Liberation: What Have We Learned?"

Students are invited to explore such topics as: 

  • What would liberation have looked like?
  • What did liberators see?
  • How was it all documented?
  • What can the lessons of the Holocaust teach us today?

Deadline for entries is February 7, 2020.

Cash prizes up to $2,500 may be awarded.

Winners and their schools will be recognized at the Yom Hashoah V’Hagvurah commemoration on April 20 at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple.
